The Stags Head, Maidwell, Monday 11th August 2014
A challenge weather wise ,with short sharp showers making it unpleasant. Sally did her best to provide shelter for the musicians with a medium sized umbrella. The front car park was soon abandoned for the shelter of an awning in the pub garden . A pity as the car park had been coned off to give us a nice big space. Our departure was appeciated by the wagtail who had been purched on a telephone cable wanting to get into his nest somewhere in the creepers which cover the front of the pub .The awning kept everyone dry while every so often another heavy shower produced more waterfalls off the awning. Next week will be the final Monday Evening Dance Out in 2014
