Dog & Gun Walton - Thursday 7th May 2015
A darkening sky and a violent squall , at about 7.15pm and complete with hailstones ,did not bode well for Dancing . Need not have worried as by 7.30pm the sun came out for a pleasant evening at a popular Pub.
A good sized audience wandered in and out of and there was a lot of interest and banter making for a good night. Once again it was dark and getting cold when dancing finished and we even managed Shepherds Hay with three spectators joining in. Best part was the Acting Landlord Bill Price who was standing in to cover holidays. Bill is a musician with Bakanalia Border Morris in Leicester. Without Hat, War Paint and Melodeon he was all but unrecognisable.
