Braybrooke Village Street Party to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday Saturday 9th July 2016
After a quick lunch in Harborough provided by side member Sally Joyce (Thanks Sally) we were off to Braybrooke , the village at which the side were formed in 1989 and from whom they get their name.
Braybrooke was having a Street Party to celebrate The Queens 90th Birthday and we had been invited to provide some entertainment. No mention was made of the 'surprise guest' who arrived to cut the ribbon starting the party off. Accompanied by her 'Corgies' 'HRH didn't stay long but got the party off to a good start . We danced for about an hour , including "The Braybrooke Stick Dance" and we even managed to get some of the audience to participate in dancing Shephard's Hay. with the help of instruction from Pauline.
