The Star Inn - Geddington Thursday 4th June 2015
You can always anticipate a good night dancing at Geddingto and Thursday 4th was no different wth a good sized audience sitting on the steps a the base of the cross and outside of the pub. It was busy and evryone seemed to be enoying themselves , with audience participation the best so far this season - residents were even 'dragged from their homes to join in
Sharing the evening with Hips 'n' Haws Clog Dancing side spread the load and gave dancers a break. For the first time this year the evening was warm and the sky was clear. Dancing in the presence of Queen Eleanor's Cross always produces interesting photographs - it would be less of a pan in the neck it was a few feet shorter but it always looks good. About half way throught the evening Rowena came with the quaestion "Is the shutter supposed to be closed on the camera" which had been set up to take advantage of getting higher up , to avoid being stood in front of. It looked like I had not turned it on. Cursing myself I was relieved to find out it had been running. The shutters closing is still a mystery .
