The Star - Geddington - Thursday 25th July 2019 with Cobbled together.
e .Of all the locations we visit two stand out as a model for the size and reliability of audience presence. Swinford and Geddington. The latter has the advantage of tiered seating around the base of Queen Eleanore's Cross which stands proudly opposite 'The Star Inn' and which of an evening can be exceedingly difficult to photograph as by evening the top 1/3rd is still in sunlight while the bottom 2/3rd is in fairly heavy shade. This year it was slightly hazy which diffused the sunlight.
There were quite number of people sitting outside the pub making it the biggest audience so far this year. As usual 'audience participation' was well supported for 3 dances Shepherds Hay from us, 'Fish and chips'from Cobbled together and 'Bonny Green' by everyone by the time Bonny Green was sung(?) and danced it was almost dark. Thank you Geddington for being such good hosts - we'll be back next year.
