The Fox Inn - Hallaton , Thursday 28th May 2015'
Arriving to find a busy Pub and an almost full Car Park it was decided that we'd dance outside of the front of the pub. It was the prospect of some residual warmth in the sun that clinched it for dancing in the road as so far this season Thursday nights have been freezing and last night was much the same but it didn't stop us having some fun especially when two of the local chaps insisted they wanted to do some dancing. 'Constant Billy' was the dance of choice . We danced it through as a demo and then Simon and Marcus stepped in, sticks at the ready. It's not as easy as it looks particularly when 'Haying', but they did a really good job as they had never had a go before. It was all good natured fun and everyone enjoyed it and it was followed up with Shepherd's Hay for the Marcus and Pauline's girls. Green Garters were call about 09.15pm as once again with the sun down so did the temperature.
As an aside The Fox Inn do a really nice 'Blonde Bitter' from Rutland Brewery - worth the ride on a nice evening for a pint - provided you're not driving.
