The Coach and Horses - Lubenham - Thursday 26th July 2018
When we arrived it looked like the whole of Lubenham had decided to come out to watch us. More accurately a large party of Ladies on an Evening Out with a variety of others eating out ,a group of cyclists and us. There was no room in the car park it should have been a good evening. In fact it was particularly as our guests from last week Jonathan from Rutland Morris and Jim from Peterborough / Northampton Morris turned out to support us which made it easier to spread out the load - we were wondering about Squires knee but lepping about as he was we presumed it was OK. and let him get on with it.
It was only on the following morning that we received a message that longtime side member and former Squire Eddie Stover had passed away at precisely the time we were Dancing our final dance 'Bonny Green Garters' . His family were with him our condolences go out to his wife June and all the family - he will be greatly missed. RIP Eddie
