The Nevill Arms - Medbourne - Thursday 24th August 2017
Over the past couple of years The Nevill Arms has been visited June/July when the tables by the river were packed with an enthusiastic audience raring to go. Late August felt somewhat different , It was warm and overcast and there was plenty of room on the benches . The car park was full but those inside stayed inside. We had the pleasure of Secretary Pauline's grand daughters Holly and Georgia were both decked out with hats and baldricks and sticks ready for a go at Constant Billy. We have two videos below , one watching it and the other 'DOING IT' . We also had another guest , Eddy's daughter Dawn who lives on the Isle of Man. I was unaware until I over heard a comment and kicked myself as it was too dark for stills photography but fortunately Video operates at light levels much lower than a stills camera so I managed to get them on Video Mona's Delight. We were joined by a couple for Shepherds Hay. It turned out to be the young woman who was 'on the mic' at Braybrooke Fair in July.
