Arthingworth Manor - Arthingworth - Saturday 7th July 2018
According to the longest standing member of the side - 'Geoff the Bagman' , Arthingworth was the first paid gig for the newly formed 'Braybrooke Morris Dancers' back in 1989.
The first challenge this afternoon was to locate the flattest area for dancing that was also dry and relatively free of sheep droppings. With everyone from Bill the Melodeon payer to The Squire there was much debate and finally an area in the middle of the 'green' was deamed satisfactory. It was certainly not flat and the condition of the 'grass' left a bit to be desired - but it's never say die. We delivered out 'spots' sandwiched by a Ukulele Trio . It might not have been the best area we had ever danced on but it produced some interesting pictures. See if you can find Squire and Bagman both with 2 feet off the ground - I think Sally also qualifies in that one. What is it when Lyndsey and Brenda get opposite each other they can't stop laughing. There are a few more 'head and shoulders" picture testing out the new lens - it's amazing the difference have good lighting makes. England won another match in their World Cup bid, the only thing missing was an Ice Cream Van - bye George it was hot
