Winter Solstice Celebration Dance Out
What a way to spend an afternoon at the Invitation of Terry and Linda DIx of The Kettering Witchmen - Border Morris side. Along with Royal Oak Morris, Hemlock Morris' Queens Oak Morris, Bourne Borderers Morris and New Moon Morris. Some fantastic Dancing and atmosphere an a good crowd outside of the 'Queens' in Orlingbury near Kettering. Plenty of beer and chips on a bright crisp afternoon. All to celebrate the Winter Solstice - the point in the calendar where the Earth and Sun start to move back towards each other. When the dancing stopped we retired into the pub fora drinks a sausage roll and mince pies and a bit of a singing session. Thanks to Terry and Linda for the invitation we all really enjoyed it.
