Foxton Locks - May Day Celebration Monday 1st May 2017
The annual celebration to welcome in the start of summer (?) was taken up on Bank Holiday Monday at Foxton Locks. A reasonable if not exactly a summers day and a large number of people out for a Bank Holiday lunch or visiting the locks made for a good couple of hours of entertainment starting with the May Day Carol. We were accompanied by Clog side 'Cobbled Together' and one of our friends from Rutland Morris - Mr Jonathan Unna who entertained the spectators with his solo party piece.
May Day also marked the first Dancing in Public of new dancer Lindsay who took part in 3 dances (stick and Handkerchief) and put on a good show for her first outing -
WELL DONE LINDSAY !!
