The Cherry Tree - Little Bowden - Thursday 8th June 2017
Five minutes after we arrived at the Cherry Tree the rain eased off and finally stopped. Within 15 mins the sun was out dazzling everyone as it reflected off the wet tarmac and producing quite a challenge for anyone taking pictures. We shared the dancing with our old friends 'Cobbled together' and our numbers were bolstered by the presence of Gordon Blunt of Rutland Morris to whom I apologise again for cracking him across the knuckles in 'Balance the Straw'. Hope it didn't hinder your playing the Saxophone on Friday. With an interesting 'Umbrella dance by Cobbled Together and an small but enthusiastic audience participation in Shepherds Hay the evening turned out well considering the soggy start. Hopefully we provide a lasting image of English Tradition to a couple from Philadelphia who were on their last night in the UK who really enjoyed the entertainment.
