The Star - Geddington Thursday 14th July 2016
Don't know what it is about Geddington but there is always a good crowd and they always seem to enjoy the evening's efforts. Maybe its the steps at the bottom of Queen Eleanor's Cross which provide tiered 'sitting like an outdoor theatre. Or that being steeped in tradition going back beyond Saxon times and into prehistory it shares a heritage as does Morris Dancing. What ever it is we'd like more of it as 'Dancing Out' is much more fun when there is a receptive audience who will join in the fun.
We teamed up and shared the dancing with our friends from ' Cobbled together and danced until the moon was up and it was nearly dark. If there has to be a 'downside it is that there is not a lot of light around the cross in the evening which makes getting decent images a bit more of a challenge which is why the gallery is smaller from this visit - there are some interesting video's three of which can be reached from the Front Page of the website.
