Royal Oak Morris 30th Anniversary Day of Dance - 3rd October 2015
The 30th Anniversary Celebrations could have turned into a route as with only 3.1/2 Braybrooke dancers ( Pauline, Sally and Eddy the 1/2 being myself - the other half is a musician) available to go. Gordon from Rutland willingly stepped in leaving us potentially 2 short of a set. No need to worry 4 man dances and borrowing from other sides was no problem and Rowena was fending off musicians of various types and talents, wanting to provide support. The afternoon was pleasant and the event took place at two locations Eyden and Byfield outside of pubs (there's a surprise) with a meal prepared for around 6 o'clock at the Village Hall , and what a fantastic meal it was all prepared and organised by Royal Oak. There was also a memento of a bottle of dubious cider and a pewter badge - Thank you Royal Oak
